Repeater Status Report
Jan 25, 2010: VE6QCR is in normal operation with 100Hz CTCSS tone being transmit if needed.
VE6BOX - Athabasca Repeater
Nov 14, 2011: In August 2011, a lightning storm caused damage to the repeater equipment and power supplies. The club restored the VHF repeater in September but the UHF link equipment will be restored in November. The QCARC is working to extend the SARA linking system to link with the Tarsands ARC in Ft McMurray.
VE6BOX is now transmitting a 100 Hz CTCSS tone and can be enabled on mobile receivers as required.
VE6PP - Whitecourt Repeater
Nov 14, 2011: In September, the club restored the SARA linking system via Buck Lake with much improved audio quality. In addition the club extablished a link at Whitecourt with the Yellowhead ARC. The plan is to permanently tie Whitecourt to the Yellowhead system and to provide the SARA connection to the Yellowhead group of repeaters.
VE6PP now transmits 100 Hz CTCSS tone.
VE6SS - Pigeon Lake Repeater
May 6, 2010: Repeater is fully operational transmitting 100 Hz CTCSS tone. We are experiencing intermittent noisse on VE6SS and will visit VE6SS soon to resolve. Please report any problems to the club.
